Environmental Biology allows you to explore critical issues in conservation biology and biodiversity while making connections with areas such as human health, sustainability, environmental management and public policy. This program focuses on the biology of environmental issues, integrating ecological theory and practice to predict, quantify and address the impact of stressors such as habitat loss, pollutants, climate change, resource harvesting and invasive species on living systems. Career paths include: ecologist, invasive-species biologist, conservation biologist.

This program has a practical focus aimed at building your knowledge and skill set across a broad spectrum of writing, publishing and editing, including digital writing and publishing, fiction and non ‐ fiction writing, print production, advanced editing for books and magazines and writing for adults.

The Franklin L. Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management offers seasoned professionals an opportunity to receive an Executive Master of Science in real estate and the built environment. The online program requires 98 credit hours and can be completed in 68 months, or you can take it at your own pace, finishing within five years. The flexible program is designed for working professionals with at least seven years of work experience in a real estate, property development or integrated project delivery setting.

Along with technical skills, you'll have the chance to develop perspective on the business needs of today's companies. You can earn your MS in information and communications technology with a concentration in software design and programming entirely online or in the evenings on campus through the University of Denver's University College. Beyond the coursework dedicated to software, you also can choose electives from other IT areas, including web design, security and database design.

The skills you gain in this program can make you particularly desirable in a variety of fields, because the ability to defuse conflicts is a valuable skill for any employer with a large workforce. Graduates of the Josef Korbel School's MA in conflict resolution program have pursued careers within a variety of fields. You'll find our alumni working at the Peace Institute, Mercy Corps, the Better Business Bureau, Kosovo's Ministry of Affairs and the Department of Transportation, among others.
